Beecher City is a village in Effingham County, Illinois, United States. Beecher City is part of the Effingham, IL Micropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 463 at the 2010 census.[3] Beecher City was founded in 1881.

Beecher City is located in northwestern Effingham County at 39°11′13″N 88°47′9″W / 39.18694°N 88.78583°W / 39.18694; -88.78583 (39.187030, -88.785737).[4]Illinois Route 33 passes through the village, leading east 15 miles (24 km) to Effingham.
